Tŷ-Total started with a decision — to stop drinking alcohol and see what life felt like on the other side.

After embracing an alcohol-free life, I began to rediscover what it meant to feel grounded, calm, and truly present. In that space, I found my way back to something I had always loved — the therapeutic power of essential oils.

So why Tŷ-Total?

People often ask whether its a Welsh word - it isn't! It's a bit of a cheeky play on words! Teetotal — as in, not drinking, it felt like the perfect starting point. But Tŷ also means 'house' in Welsh, and I love that too. These are products made to be used at home, in your own space, to support the emotional focus you want. (As well as smelling amazing!)

A bit about me

I'm a midwife, and I've used essential oils for years — both in my own life and with the women I've supported through labour. I've seen first-hand how scent can shift a mood, ease anxiety, and bring someone back to themselves.

That's exactly what Tŷ-Total is about.

The three pillars

Everything I make sits within one of three collections:

• Tŷ Seren (Star) — for rest, calm and sleep
• Tŷ Cerrig (Stone) — for grounding, centring and balance
• Tŷ Cyfan (Wholeness) — for renewal, openness and reconnection

Each blend has an emotional focus and an affirmation — something to hold onto when you need it most.

You'll find the blends in candles, room sprays, wax melts, reed diffusers and car air fresheners.

Tŷ-Total is for anyone who wants to slow down, feel more like themselves, and make their home a place that feels (and smells) good to be in.
